El pasado 11 de octubre, tuve el honor de dirigir a la Unión Musical de Fuensalida en un proyecto muy especial realizado junto a mis alumnos de la Escuela de Composición Ferrer Ferran.
Se estrenó mi nueva obra Sal y Vida, una jota sinfónica llena de fuerza, color y vitalidad, durante el concierto celebrado junto a la Unión Musical de Fuensalida dentro del proyecto conjunto con los alumnos de mi Escuela de Composición Ferrer Ferran.
Esta obra forma parte de la suite Postales de un Pueblo, compuesta en cinco movimientos por cinco autores diferentes, donde cada uno aportó su propia visión musical. Mi movimiento, el quinto, cerró la suite con un estallido de energía y alegría.
Durante la interpretación, dos parejas de baile español dieron vida a la jota en el escenario, creando un momento de emoción y conexión total con el público. La acogida fue entusiasta y conmovedora, coronando un estreno lleno de magia y aplausos.
Sal y Vida puede interpretarse también de manera independiente, convirtiéndose en una pieza perfecta para cerrar un concierto o para ser ofrecida como un brillante bis, gracias a su carácter festivo, su ritmo contagioso y su espíritu profundamente español.

Premiere of Sal y Vida
On October 11th, I had the great honor of conducting the Unión Musical de Fuensalida in a very special project created together with my students from the Ferrer Ferran School of Composition.
My new work Sal and Vida was premiered — a symphonic jota bursting with energy, color, and vitality — during the concert with the Unión Musical de Fuensalida, as part of a collaborative project with the students of my Ferrer Ferran School of Composition.
The piece belongs to the suite Postales de un Pueblo, written in five movements by five different composers, each contributing their own musical vision. My movement, the fifth, closed the suite with a dazzling explosion of rhythm and joy.
During the performance, two pairs of Spanish dancers brought the jota to life on stage, creating a moving and unforgettable connection with the audience, who responded with warmth and enthusiasm.
Sal and Vida can also be performed as a standalone piece, making it a perfect finale for a concert or a brilliant encore, thanks to its festive character, captivating rhythm, and deeply Spanish spirit.
