I.- Gjallarhorn ("El cuerno que suena")
5':22''
Es el cuerno llevado por Heimdall, el
guardián de los dioses. Reposa escondido bajo la tercera raíz del Árbol del Mundo Yggdrasil. Heimdall protegía el cuerno Gjallarhorn, que podía ser oído a través del cielo, la
tierra, y el mundo inferior; se creía que haría sonar el cuerno para convocar a los dioses para sacrificar a sus enemigos, los gigantes, y se
acerque el Ragnarok, el fin del mundo de los dioses y de los hombres. En el Ragnarok, sonará por última vez y se escuchará por todo el mundo, llamando a
los guerreros y a los luchadores para la batalla. También es llamado Gjall.

II.- Heimdall 8':28''
Hijo de Odín. Su nombre significaba el que lanza claros rayos. Era el guardián de los dioses, un dios de la luz.
Llamado el dios reluciente y el dios de piel blanca, Heimdall vivía en la entrada de Asgard, donde protegía Bifrost,
el puente Arco Iris. Podía dormir menos que un pájaro, podía ver 100
leguas (557 Km. y 270 m.), y podía oír crecer la hierba en las praderas y la
lana en la piel de una oveja. Además su oído era prodigioso. |
III.- Odin 3':27''
Era el dios supremo, padre de todos los hombres y de muchos de los dioses. Era el dios tanto de la sabiduría como de
la guerra. Cuando se sentaba en su trono Lidskjavl, veía todo lo que pasaba en el mundo. También tenían dos cuervos llamados Hugin y Munin que salía
todas las mañanas y regresaban antes del desayuno para dar cuenta a Odin de todo lo que habían visto y oído. Gere y Frece son sus dos lobos, que comen
toda la comida de Odin, porque él se mantenía únicamente de vino. Su caballo Sleipner tenía ocho piernas y corría más que cualquier otro animal u hombre
tanto por aire, como por tierra y agua. También era el dios de la muerte de los guerreros, a los que llevan a Valhal al morir.

I.- Gjallarhorn ("The Sounding Horn")

It is the Horn by
Heimdallr, the guardian of the gods.
It lies hidden beneath
the third Yggdrasil world tree root.
Heimdall protecting
Horn Gjallarhorn, which could be heard from the sky, Earth, and the lower
world; it was believed that it would sound the Horn to summon the gods to
sacrifice their enemies, the Giants, and approaching the Ragnarok, the end
of the world of gods and men.
In Ragnarok, sounds
last and is heard worldwide, by calling the warriors and wrestlers for
battle. It is also
called Gjall.
II.- Heimdall 8':28''
Son of Odin.
Its name meant that
throws light rays.
It was the guardian of
the gods, a God of light.
Called the shining God
and the God of white skin, Heimdall lived at the entrance of Asgard, where
protected Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge.
It could sleep less
than a bird, he could see 100 leagues (557 km and 270 m), and could hear
grow grass meadows and the wool on a sheep skin.
