En Argamasilla de Alba se
encuentra la “Casa de Medrano”, emblemático
edificio
que cobija una
humilde y rústica cueva que la tradición identifica como la prisión en
la que Miguel de Cervantes concibió y empezó a alumbrar su inmortal Don
Quijote. Esta antiquísima tradición se remonta a los mismos tiempos de
Cervantes quien, a pesar de su voluntad de “no recordar” el lugar de la
Mancha de su protagonista, indirectamente la ha alimentado con las
alusiones a su propia prisión vertidas en el prólogo. |

El Quijote es la obra maestra
de Cervantes y una de las más admirables creaciones del espíritu humano.
Es
una caricatura perfecta de la literatura caballeresca, y sus dos personajes
principales, Don Quijote y Sancho Panza, encarnan los dos tipos del alma
española, el idealista y soñador, que olvida las
necesidades de la vida material para correr en pos de inaccesibles quimeras,
y el positivista y práctico, aunque bastante fatalista.
Su condición de caballero le
impone a Don Quijote la obligación de entronizar en su corazón
una gran dama en cuyo servicio serán todas sus andanzas de caballerías. No
habiendo en la realidad nada que requiera los servicios de la caballería, a
nuestro caballero no le queda más servicio que el de su dueña, la sin par
Doña Dulcinea del Toboso.

Quijote, asume una actitud gráfica representando la dignidad, nobleza,
solidaridad, consecuencia. |

Esta Composición está dedicada
a la de la Agrupación Musical “Maestro Martín Díaz” de Argamasilla de
Alba y a su Director Titular Miguel Carlos Gómez Perona por su gran labor
pedagógica y cultural que realizan, promoviendo lo que mejor saben hacer:
“BUENA MÚSICA” y para que recuerden mi Maravillosa estancia junto a todos
ellos, en el Verano de 2003. |

In Argamasilla of Dawn is
found the “House of Medrano”, symbolic building that shelters a humble and
rustic cave that the tradition identifies like the prison in which Miguel of
Cervantes conceived and began to light its immortal one Mr. Quijote. This
ancient tradition went back to the same times of Cervantes who, in spite of
its will of “not to recall” the place of the Spot of its protagonist,
indirectly has fed it with the allusions to its own prison poured in the
prologue. |

The Quijote is the
master work of Cervantes and one of the most admirable creations of the  human spirit. It is a caricatura perfect of the gentlemanly literature, and
its two main personages, Mr. Quijote and Sancho Panza, embody the two types
of the Spanish soul, the idealist and soñador, that forgets the needs of the
material life to run after inaccessible quimeras, and the positivist and
practical, although enough fatalista. Its condition of young man imposes on
it Mr. Quijote the obligation of entronizar in their heart a great lady in
whose service they will be all their andanzas of cavalries. Not having in
the reality swims that require the services of the cavalry, to our young man
does not remain it more service than that of its owner, the without even Mrs
Dulcinea of the Toboso.
Rocinante, the horse of Mr.
Quijote, assumes a graphic attitude representing the dignity, nobility,
solidarity, consequence. |

dedicated to the Band of the Musical Group “Master Martín Díaz” of
Argamasilla of Dawn and to their Regular Director Miguel Carlos Gómez Perona
by their great cultural and pedagogical work that carry out, promoting what
better know to do, “GOOD MUSIC”AND so that they recall my Marvelous stay
next to all they, in the Summer of 2003. |
